Loutraki: Greece’s First Culinary Capital
Loutraki: Greece’s First Culinary Capital: The popular destination in the Peloponnese becomes the first in Greece to be honored with the title of Culinary Capital by the International World Food Travel Association, highlighting its gastronomic identity on a global scale. This recognition strengthens the city’s position on the world culinary map, showcasing its long-standing local tradition in Mediterranean cuisine. Fresh ingredients, seafood from the Corinthian Gulf, traditional pasta, and sweets create a gastronomic identity that honors the authenticity and hospitality of the region.
The initiative was carried out by the Loutraki Tourism Organization (LTO) in collaboration with the Caterers’ Association “Xenios Zeus.”
Recognizing Loutraki as the first Culinary Capital of Greece is an honor and a commitment to preserving and promoting its gastronomic heritage. If you are looking for a destination that combines flavors, tradition, and authentic experiences, you will discover it in Loutraki – dish by dish.
